While rail transportation is being re-evaluated as a measure to combat global warming, there are challenges in transporting precision machinery and other equipment that are vulnerable to vibration.
As a solution to this problem, MOL is promoting the use of the “ZERO G-Floor” to realize JR container transport.

About ZERO G-Floor

ZERO G-Floor is an innovative flooring material that addresses the challenges of precision equipment transportation.

Its unique twin-cone top-plate structure provides both strength and light weight, significantly reducing vibrations during transportation.

This is an introductory video of the ZERO G series designed for anti-vibration applications. Please consider this first.

This product is installed on the floor of containers and trucks with the same antivibration performance as the antivibration pallets.

  • High-performance antivibration effect when placed on truck beds.
  • Controlling vibration while running by laying on the floor of the JR containers.
  • Twin-cone top panels are strong, yet lightweight.
  • The maximum antivibration performance is achieved using the appropriate cushioning material for the product load.
  • Easy replacement with an appropriate cushioning material.
  • Slide rails are provided on all four sides to easily secure the product with eyebolts or fixed attachments (Slide Lock function).

Adding a Slide Lock Function to ZERO G-Floor!

  • Capability of anti-vibration transportation of precision machinery.
  • It can be fixed according to the size and shape of the product.
  • It can be replaced by a cushioning material appropriate for the weight of the product.
  • Slide rails are provided on all four sides to easily secure products with eyebolts or fixed attachments (Slide Lock function).

JR Container Short-distance Vibration Transport Test

ZERO G-Floor transport vibration measurement test was conducted in a railroad container (Yokohama Honmoku Station ↔ Tokyo Cargo Terminal Station).

①ZERO G-Floor installed in container
②One pallet was placed on ZERO G-Floor
③The other pallet was placed on the floor of the container, as usual.
➃A vibration measurement device was placed on the ZERO G-Floor, and others on the floor of the container.
⑤6 pallets in container.
⑥Departure from Tokyo cargo terminals. The container was removed from the measuring equipment at the Yokohama Honmoku Station.

Measurement result

The blue graph shows data for the “ZERO G-Floor.” Red is the data for the “Container Floor.”

Comparing the two graphs, the vibration range on the container floor is between 1G and 9.8G, while “ZERO G-Floor” can control it to 1.6G.
In other words, the “ZERO G-Floor” exhibited superior antivibration performance.

JR Container Long-distance Vibration Transportation Test

A comparative transportation test of antivibration pallets, antivibration flooring, and normal pallets was conducted. (From Atsugi City, Kanagawa Prefecture to Shimonoseki Port, Yamaguchi Prefecture, and back)
